There’s nothing more reliable than British weather, and a trip to Ryde Beach on the Isle of Wight was predictably interrupted by rain. It’s a lovely sandy beach, and only a ten minute trip by hovercraft from the mainland. heartily recommended to any beach lover – just don’t forget your anorak.
I have clients not 30 seconds from this bridge. Eton is a wonderfully scenic town, and home to the famous Eton College.

Caerdydd Canolog / Cardiff Central is a Grade II listed building about 200 yards from the Cardiff Millennium stadium. I felt that a cold, industrial look suited this building. So I’ve been watching quite a bit of Torchwood – catch-up from having never seen it (as a point of note my spouse has inflicted Gavin & Stacey upon me, so we’re becoming a bit Welsh-o-phile!).
